So, clearly, they’re both spoiled brats. But, before the infamous hat-throwing incident, at least Nico showed Lewis (and the sport) enough respect to shake his hand and congratulate him on his win. In the last two races, where Rosberg finished on top, Hamilton gave his teammate no handshake or congrats, he barely even gave him any eye contact.
You’re the damn world champion already, man. I get it that every driver wants to win every single time, and I’m sure you’re disappointed, but show some damn sportsmanship. I sure hope next season isn’t just a repeat of what we’ve already seen from these two self-absorbed pricks (and I say this with full knowledge that 95% of F1 drivers, past and present, are self-absorbed pricks).

I feel bad for Rosberg. It’s like Barrichello and Schumacher all over again.

It’s hard for robots to show emotion, either negative or positive.

They just need a sense of humour! Button, Alonso and Vettel should run a course in banter for the others.

That comparison isn’t fair to the Mercedes team; I don’t think they are showing favouritism to Lewis as Ferrari did to Michael. While he’s gotten the better of Hamilton over the last two races, Nico just hasn’t been up to the task of taking the fight to Lewis over the last two season. If Lewis had less mechanical issues last year, he’d have had that championship wrapped up before the final round as well.

If it wasn’t for his personality off-track, I’d like Lewis a lot more because as a racer he’s clearly been the better of the two, in my opinion, despite the last two races.

He’s proven himself one of the greats. I’m afraid he thinks every win Rosberg takes from him chips away at his legacy, and maybe he’s right.

Well put.

No joke!

I don’t think he’s right if he thinks that. He needs to accept that people are going to be better than him on occasion and be satisfied that he has put forward his best effort, even if it doesn’t get him the result he wants.

Yeah, none of the greats won every time out. They just managed to win more often than their counterparts at the time. I think he feels every win Nico gets is a mark against him as a cream of the crop driver, and more a mark for the Mercedes as a great car. Nico’s already got more wins and nearly as many podiums as Webber, with 30 fewer starts. Vettel’s proving his talent with his successes this year in an inferior ride. Arguably, Hamilton already did this in the RB years. Nico has moments of greatness, but the fact is you need championships to be remembered as great.

He is great but he has to learn the way of the troll. Something Vettel has nailed.

True, he’s more playful than troll.
